Pampa ISD COVID-19 Update #24

Posted Date: 05/26/2021

Pampa ISD COVID Update 24 We hope this update finds you and your family enjoying the holiday weekend.  Remember, Monday and Tuesday are student holidays.  Because we want to provide as much flexibility as possible to our students and families, we have opened up Week 3 (April 13-17) on the PISD@HomeLearning site.  Assignments are due each week by 6:00 pm on the following Sunday.  In addition, teachers will be sharing updated information about grades and progress monitoring this week.  We will also update our FAQ documents as well.

We need your feedback!

Thank you for those of you have already completed the survey.  We appreciate your feedback.  If you have not yet completed the survey, PLEASE take just a few minutes and let us know how we can improve our services.

Please click on the appropriate link below to take the survey.  It should only take about 5-10 minutes.  The student or the parent can complete the survey.  Our goal is to get feedback for each student in our district.  Thank you in advance for your patience and support as we continue to improve our services to our students and families

Gov. Abbot Update this week

On Friday, Governor Abbott held a press conference and stated that he would begin releasing the plans sometime this week about how he will slowly begin “opening up” Texas.  We do not know any new information about school closures or if there will be changes in the May 4th target date.  We will post an update as soon as possible if/when the governor provides any new information about public schools.  Click Here to view the transcript of his press conference from Friday, April 10, 2020.

If you have questions or need assistance, please email us at pampaisdinfo@pampaisd.net or give us a call at 669-4700.  We continue to pray for blessings and peace to you and your families.

Dr. Tanya Larkin, Superintendent
