Pampa ISD COVID Update #19-April 3, 2020

Good evening Pampa ISD Students and Families,

As we reflect on all that is going on around us, we are reminded of the things we value the most.  For many of us, the first thing that comes to mind is of course our family and loved ones. We enjoy being with those we love the most and sharing our special times and our lives with each other.  It seems as though many of us have taken the little things for granted for too long such as just being able to gather at each other’s homes and enjoy each other’s company.  However, when we really think about what we value the MOST—it is not just getting together with our loved ones and family members, it is our love FOR them that matters the MOST.  Our willingness to make sacrifices, by being away from the people we love, is the MOST important thing we can do right now.  Staying home and staying apart is the MOST important way we can show our love for others.

As a district, we also value our students, staff, and our community.  We love being with our students in our classrooms, with our colleagues, and with our families as we share moments together on our courts, fields, and stages.  However, we have taken those times for granted as well.  Even though we cannot be together at this time watching our students compete and perform, we know that being apart is the best thing to do right now.

Thank you for staying home and staying connected with us through social media and through our learning portal.  The school spirit posts have been so fun to see!  Thank you for sharing your moments with us!  We have some new challenges coming out next week.  Be looking for more ways to stay connected while we stay apart!

Blessings to you all.  Have a healthy weekend and #stayhomePampa!
