Students showcase culinary skills, creativity, and professionalism at special district celebration
The Pampa High School Culinary Arts students recently had an opportunity to showcase their talents while helping make the 2026 Pampa High School Hall of Fame Reception an unforgettable evening!
Under the direction of Culinary Arts instructor Tracy Bruce, students prepared and catered an impressive selection of delicious food for the reception honoring this year's Hall of Fame inductees, Dr. William (Bill) Campaigne, Class of 1965, and Melanie Warner, Class of 1987.
From beautifully arranged charcuterie displays and fresh fruits and vegetables to savory appetizers and sweet treats, the students demonstrated remarkable attention to detail. The presentation was every bit as impressive as the food itself! Elegant serving displays, thoughtful arrangements, and seasonal touches created a welcoming atmosphere for guests celebrating the accomplishments of two distinguished Pampa High School graduates.
The menu featured a variety of delicious offerings, including pulled pork sliders, deviled eggs prepared three ways, fresh fruit, cheeses, and cheesecake bites. Every detail reflected the students' creativity, preparation, and pride in their work.
Beyond preparing a delicious meal, catering an event like the Hall of Fame Reception provides students with valuable, real-world experience. From menu planning and food preparation to presentation and event service, students have the opportunity to apply the skills they are learning in the classroom in a professional setting.
Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs like Culinary Arts help prepare students for future careers by connecting classroom learning with hands-on experiences. Events like this demonstrate the incredible talent and opportunities available to students at Pampa High School.
Pampa ISD extends a special thank-you to Tracy Bruce and her Culinary Arts students for the time, effort, and dedication they put into making the Hall of Fame Reception such a wonderful experience.
We couldn't be prouder of the way these students represented Pampa High School. Their hard work, creativity, and commitment to excellence were evident in every detail!
Show Up. Work Hard. Serve Others.
