Alice Stark, Class of 1968, Donates Handmade Crocheted Banners to District & Campuses

💚💛 Harvester pride doesn't end at graduation, and Alice Stark is a wonderful example of what it means to be a Harvester for life!

A proud graduate of Pampa High School's Class of 1968, Alice recently shared her creativity, dedication, and love for Pampa ISD through a special donation of handmade crocheted banners in Harvester green and gold.

Alice, who is deaf and legally blind, has spent countless hours carefully creating these beautiful banners. Her remarkable craftsmanship and attention to detail have not gone unnoticed. In fact, one of her creations earned first place at the Tri-State Fair!

Alice was a special guest at Pampa ISD's monthly administrators meeting, where she personally presented her handmade banners to campus principals. She was joined by her friends, Kathy Cavalier and Brenda Condo, whom she met through the Meals on Wheels organization. Their friendship and support made the occasion even more special.

The banners are more than beautiful decorations. Each one represents hours of patience, perseverance, and a deep sense of Harvester pride. Her work is a reminder that dedication, creativity, and a heart for serving others can make a lasting impact.

Alice's banners will also be displayed at the Pampa ISD Administration Building, where visitors and staff can enjoy her craftsmanship and appreciate the hard work and love that went into each piece.

Pampa ISD is incredibly grateful to Alice Stark for sharing her gifts with our schools and community. Her generosity reflects the very heart of our district's motto: Show Up. Work Hard. Serve Others.

Thank you, Alice, for reminding us that Harvester pride lasts a lifetime!

💚💛 Once a Harvester, Always a Harvester!
