PAMPA, Texas — Pampa Independent School District is proud to announce Becky Snelgrooes as the next principal of Lamar Elementary following approval by the Board of Trustees.
Mrs. Snelgrooes currently serves as assistant principal at Travis Elementary, where she has helped foster a positive campus culture while building strong relationships with students, staff, and families. With a passion for education and servant leadership, she is excited to begin this new chapter at Lamar Elementary.
A proud graduate of Pampa High School, Mrs. Snelgrooes has deep roots in the Harvester community. She and her husband, Kaleb, are the parents of two boys who attend Pampa High School. Kaleb previously taught and coached at PHS before pursuing a new business venture with T-Shirts and More. He currently serves on the Pampa ISD Board of Trustees.
District leaders shared their excitement about Mrs. Snelgrooes stepping into the leadership role at Lamar Elementary.
“Mrs. Snelgrooes has demonstrated a heart for students, a commitment to excellence, and a passion for serving families throughout her time in Pampa ISD,” district officials shared. “We are excited for the leadership and care she will bring to the Lamar campus.”
As principal, Mrs. Snelgrooes looks forward to supporting student achievement, strengthening relationships with families, and continuing the tradition of excellence at Lamar Elementary.
