Addi Bagwell is #29 and a Freshman Second Baseman on the Lady Harvester softball team. Addi is also a member of the Lady Harvester Volleyball team. A big highlight moment for her was the inside-the-park homerun against Perryton. She had two walks and two runs scored in the Randall game recently as well as three stolen bases.
Here is what Lady Harvester Softball Head Coach Denise Browning had to say about Addi:
“Addi is an amazing athlete and competitor. She has been a huge asset to our team this year as a freshman. She has been amazing playing second base, and she is a playmaker at the plate, and on the bases. She leads our team in steals, and it's always comforting as a coach to know you can be aggressive when she is on base. The main thing that stands out about Addi is the way she treats her teammates. She is everyone's biggest fan, and she wants the best for everyone. ” Browning said.
Jack Dyer is #7 and a Senior Third Baseman on the Harvester Baseball Team. Jack has battled adversity with injuries throughout his high school career causing him to miss portions of baseball and football seasons. Jack never let those injuries get his attitude down and he was a great leader in the athletic program. He was a member of the Harvester Football team.
Here is what Harvester Baseball Head Coach Austin Samulowitz had to say about Jack:
“Jack has had a successful senior season, hitting .311 through 25 games. He has improved every game at third base, where he has been responsible for 19 outs. We will miss Jack next year and we are proud of him.” Samulowitz said.
Congratulations to Addi and Jack on being what a great Harvester student-athlete is all about!
