Emme Hill is #6 and a Freshman Third Baseman on the Lady Harvester softball team. She was 1-2 against Dumas in the regular season finale. She also went 1-3 against Randall in Tuesday’s game.

Here is what Lady Harvester Softball Head Coach Denise Browning had to say about Emme:

“Emme has really come out in her freshman season, and become an important part of our team. She always gives her best effort, and never complains. She has been outstanding from the plate this year hitting four home-runs on the season. What truly sets her apart is her willingness to learn, and be coachable. I’m incredibly proud of her for her amazing season!” Browning said.

Phoenix Lopez is #10 and a Freshman Catcher on the Harvester Baseball Team. Phoenix went 1-3 against Dumas on Friday. He went 1-2 with a double against Randall on Tuesday. He is batting .438 in District play with two doubles, six RBIs, and three runs scored. He also has two stolen bases and two walks. He has also picked off four runners in District play and gunned down 10 who were trying to steal bases.

Here is what Harvester Baseball Head Coach Austin Samulowitz had to say about Phoenix:

“Phoenix has had a great start to his high school career jumping into our starting catching role and excelling at it. He shows tremendous leadership skills for a Freshman. We’re really excited to have him lead our programs for the next three years.” Samulowitz said.

Congratulations to Emme and Phoenix on being what a great Harvester student-athlete is all about!
