Payton Gowin is #22 and a Junior Leftfielder on the Lady Harvester Softball team. Gowin was 2-3 with a homerun, three RBIs, and two runs scored in the Borger game. She also recorded a hit and an RBI in the West Plains game. She has also played great defense all season in the outfield, recording four outs in the two games last week.

Here is what Lady Harvester Softball Head Coach Denise Browning had to say about Payton:

“Payton is such a pleasure to coach. She is such a great player, and always gives her best everyday. She makes playing left field look easy, and got her first homerun of the season this past Thursday against Borger. She is a playmaker, but most of all she is a great teammate and leads by example.” Browning said.

Conner Hall is #11 and a Senior Second Baseman on the Harvester Baseball Team. Hall went 3-6 in the games against West Plains and Borger. He also scored a run. He was involved in nine outs in the two games on defense while also recording a double play. Hall was also part of the Hustlin’ Harvester Basketball team that went three rounds deep in the playoffs in back-to-back seasons.

Here is what Harvester Baseball Head Coach Austin Samulowitz had to say about Conner:

“Conner Hall has had a great start to his senior season. He has built off of his successful junior season as he helps lead our efforts to make the playoffs again. He is a high character kid who always puts the team first. Very proud of Conner! ” Samulowitz said.

Congratulations to Payton and Conner on being what a great Harvester student-athlete is all about!
