Wheelchair Division – Amarillo Relays
Pampa’s Avery Ferguson turned in a standout performance at the Amarillo Relays – Meet of Champions (75th Annual). Ferguson placed second in both events in the wheelchair division, recording a personal-best and school-record time of 21.15 in the 100-meter dash while also finishing second in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:57.65.
Girls Results – Guymon Invitational
The Pampa girls junior varsity team claimed the team title with 83 points, while the varsity squad placed sixth with 53 points. Combined, the Lady Harvesters scored 136 total points across both divisions.
In the 100-meter dash, Conley Chanel won her heat with a time of 14.14, while Zhalie Solis placed fifth (14.14), Emery Gomez finished fourth (14.78), and Madilyn Paul took eighth (14.22).
In the 200-meter dash, Madilyn Paul placed fifth with a time of 29.33. Yaelin Barraza finished 12th (30.99), Izzabella Kimbrell placed 16th (32.22), and Leslie Fuentes took ninth (34.43).
In the 400-meter dash, Anaya Rocha won her heat with a time of 1:14.36 and Yaelin Barraza placed ninth (1:13.13). Isabelle Dressler finished fourth (1:15.25), Olivia Owens placed sixth (1:17.31), and Shiara Gil Hernandez took 15th (1:22.57).
In the 800-meter run, Anaya Rocha placed second with a time of 2:58.02.
In the 100-meter hurdles, Carissa Leal placed third (19.62), Alexis Rocha finished fourth (19.85), and Zhalie Solis took sixth (20.72).
In the 300-meter hurdles, Carissa Leal placed fourth (55.59) and Alexis Rocha finished fifth (57.23).
The 4x100 relay team placed fourth with a time of 55.19.
The 4x200 relay team placed second with a time of 1:56.41.
In high jump, Naya Gallegos won the event clearing 4-4, while Olivia Owens placed second (4-2) and Haili Newton finished ninth (4-4).
In long jump, Madilyn Paul placed fourth with a jump of 13-11.5 and Alexis Rocha finished fifth (13-11).
In pole vault, Lilyann Siirtola won the event clearing 6-0, while Cameron Curtis placed second (5-6).
In discus, Alexis Porter won the event with a throw of 93-0. Tamblynn Moss placed fifth (83-7), Berkley Cain finished 10th (59-0), and Aspen Alexander placed 14th (75-4).
In the shot put, Aspen Alexander placed ninth with a throw of 25-1.
Boys Results – Guymon Invitational
The Pampa boys junior varsity team won the team title with 122 points, while the varsity squad placed third with 85 points. Combined, the Harvesters totaled 207 points across both divisions.
In the 100-meter dash, Izarius Johns won his heat with a time of 12.19. Ezra Robinson placed third (11.74), Colton Rose finished third (12.40), Peyton Pennington placed eighth (12.87), Aiden Hammond finished 14th (12.82), Kaden Newton placed 15th (12.97), and Kamron Wheeler also placed 15th (13.54).
In the 200-meter dash, Gunter Thomas placed fourth (24.36). Peyton Pennington finished seventh (26.49), Kaden Newton placed 10th (25.83), Kamron Wheeler finished 11th (27.09), Carson Ward placed 14th (27.55), and Zaylon Mitchell finished 15th (28.36).
In the 400-meter dash, Ira Smith placed third with a time of 54.43. Bryson Cooper finished ninth (57.84), Kaden Newton placed 12th (59.03), and Carson McCarley finished sixth (1:03.15).
In the 800-meter run, Nathanyel Briones won the event with a time of 2:24.10. Ryan Resendiz placed sixth (2:19.19), Tate Leblanc finished eighth (2:22.57), and Irving Acosta placed 17th (2:36.68).
In the 1600-meter run, Nathanyel Briones won the event with a time of 5:33.99. Tate Leblanc placed fourth (5:13.63) and Ryan Resendiz finished sixth (5:16.79).
In the 3200-meter run, Gilbert Saldierna won the event with a time of 11:33.43.
The 4x100 relay team placed third with a time of 46.94.
The 4x200 relay team placed third with a time of 1:38.63.
In high jump, Brody Alexander won the event clearing 4-8, while Baron Hudson placed sixth (5-4) and Jeryn Owens finished seventh (5-2).
In the long jump, Izarius Johns won the event with a jump of 16-2.5. Ira Smith placed third (19-3), Colton Rose also placed third (16-2.5), Gunter Thomas finished fourth (19-1), and Ryan Resendiz placed sixth (17-8.5).
In pole vault, Carson McCarley won the event clearing 8-6, while Antawn Wright placed second (7-6).
In discus, Parker Webb won the event with a throw of 141-10. Clayton Ward placed sixth (112-4) and Wakely Ogle finished seventh (111-8).
In the shot put, Parker Webb won the event with a throw of 45-8.75, while Jace Jones placed third (43-3).
The track teams will now take a week off before competing at the District Meet Thursday and Friday April 8th and 9th.
