Pampa Harvester Athletes of the Week (March 16 - March 22)

Myla Zarate is #3 and a Sophomore Shortstop on the Lady Harvester Softball team. She was 3-4 against Perryton with two RBIs, three runs scored, and a stolen base. She homered against Hereford with two RBIs and a run scored.
Here is what Lady Harvester Softball Head Coach Denise Browning had to say about Myla:
“Myla is a phenomenal player, and student athlete. She makes playing shortstop look easy and always has the best work ethic. Myla is a great team player, lifting everyone up, and always laughing! We always know we can count on her to make the tough plays in the field and compete at the plate! ” Browning said.
Ismael Perez is #11 and a Junior Forward on the Harvester Boys Soccer Team. He scored a goal in the Bi-District Playoff game against Graham. He had assists against Perryton and Dumas. Here is what Head Soccer Coach Martin Moreno had to say about Ismael:
“He's been great to have back, he has contributed to our offense since he came back. Not only that but he brings intensity and energy to the team, ” Moreno said.
Congratulations to Myla and Ismael on being what a great Harvester student-athlete is all about!
Myla Zarate lleva el número 3 y es la campocorto sophomore en el equipo de sóftbol Lady Harvester. Tuvo una actuación de 3-4 al bate contra Perryton, con dos carreras impulsadas, tres carreras anotadas y una base robada. Conectó un jonrón contra Hereford, impulsando dos carreras y anotando una.

"Myla es una jugadora y estudiante-atleta fenomenal. Hace que jugar en el campocorto parezca fácil y siempre demuestra la mejor ética de trabajo. Myla es una gran jugadora de equipo: anima a todos y siempre se está riendo! ¡Siempre sabemos que podemos contar con ella para realizar las jugadas difíciles en el campo y competir al bate!”, comentó Browning.
Ismael Pérez lleva el número 11 y es un delantero junior en el equipo de fútbol masculino de los Harvesters. Anotó un gol en el partido de los playoffs bi-distritales contra Graham, y registró asistencias en los encuentros contra Perryton y Dumas. Esto es lo que el entrenador en jefe de fútbol, Martin Moreno, comentó sobre Ismael:
“Ha sido fantástico tenerlo de vuelta; ha contribuido a nuestra ofensiva desde que regresó. Y no solo eso, sino que también aporta intensidad y energía al equipo”, afirmó Moreno.
¡Felicidades a Myla e Ismael por encarnar todo lo que significa ser un gran estudiante-atleta de Harvester!
