The Pampa Harvesters tennis team competed in the Sandie Cup last week and had a strong outing.
Senior Shubh Doshi placed first in Boys Singles A Bracket, Sophomore Robert Kreyling finished first in the Boys Singles B Consolation Bracket; Senior Kallie Douthit finished second in the Girls Singles A Bracket and, in Mixed Doubles, freshmen Mason Johnson and Susie Linssen finished second.
"Shubh played very well in his first tournament right out of basketball," Head Coach Braydon Barker said. "His finals match was fairly close with a good player from San Jacinto. Shubh will continue to get better now that he is in tennis full time.
"Robert was actually supposed to play mixed doubles but was moved to singles the morning of the tournament. I thought he responded well with the change and had a good tournament. He will most likely move back to playing doubles in the next few tournaments. "
