Pampa Harvester Athletes of the Week (March 2 - March 8)

Ella Hudson is #8 and a Senior Center fielder on the Lady Harvester Softball team.
Here is what Lady Harvester Softball Head Coach Denise Browning had to say about Ella:
“Ella is one of my three seniors this year, and she is a true leader. Ella has been a beast in center field for us this year. If a ball is hit her way you know she is either going to make the catch or make the play. Not only is she a great competitor on the field, but she is a great teammate and leader.” Browning said.
Brayan Montelongo is #12 and a Sophomore Center Midfielder on the District Champion Harvester Boys Soccer team. Montelongo scored goals in both of the games this week against Perryton and Randall.
Here is what Harvester Soccer Head Coach Martin Moreno had to say about Brayan:
“Hes been a great player to have and is hungry for playing time. He helps us a lot offensively, and he's a great example of a student athlete. He takes care of business on and off the field.’” Moreno said.
Congratulations to Ella and Brayan on being what a great Harvester student-athlete is all about!

“Ella es una de mis tres jugadoras seniors de este año y es una verdadera líder. Ha sido una bestia en el jardín central para nosotras este año. Si le batean una pelota, sabes que va a atraparla o a hacer la jugada. No solo es una gran competidora en el campo, sino también una gran compañera y líder”, dijo Browning.
Brayan Montelongo es el número 12 y mediocampista central sophomore del equipo de fútbol masculino Harvester, campeón del distrito. Montelongo anotó goles en los dos partidos de esta semana contra Perryton y Randall.
Esto es lo que el entrenador principal de Harvester Soccer, Martin Moreno, comentó sobre Brayan:
"Ha sido un gran jugador y tiene muchas ganas de jugar. Nos ayuda mucho en ataque y es un gran ejemplo de estudiante deportista. Se encarga de todo dentro y fuera del campo", dijo Moreno.
