It was a big week for the Pampa Harvester Boy’s Soccer team (10-1-2, 12-3-5). They hosted Perryton and then traveled to Randall. With a good week they would be able to win the District Championship.
The week started with a big challenge against Perryton, a team Pampa hadn’t beaten in the last three years. The team knew what was at stake and came out determined to prove something to themselves. They played like a championship team, scoring four goals and shutting Perryton down defensively to earn a huge 4–0 win. That victory put Pampa in a great position heading into the matchup with Randall — win that game and they would secure at least a share of the District Championship.
The Harvesters handled their business against Randall with a 3-0 final, and while that game guaranteed a share of the district title, another big matchup across the Panhandle would determine the final outcome. West Plains and Dumas battled to a draw, which helped West Plains stay alive in the playoff race — and it also made the Harvesters the outright District Champions! It was the fourth straight shutout in district play for the Harvesters.
“What a HUGE week for Harvester Soccer! We’re incredibly proud of the effort, focus, and heart these young men have shown all season,” Head Coach Martin Moreno said.
How are the players feeling about the big District Championship?
“It feels awesome to win a district championship with our team, we’ve worked so hard to reach this goal and it has shown on the field. From Coach Moreno to the team we have all played a key part in reaching this goal together. I am very proud of what we have accomplished with this team.”never stop praying, never stop believing, never give up, and trust the process,” Senior Defenseman Fabian Calzada said.
“Winning district is a feeling not many people get to experience. It means a lot to me and my teammates. I’m thankful for this team, and I knew we had what it takes to do it. But we’re not done yet—we still have more games and more goals to achieve,” Senior Forward Ervin Torres said.
“This win means a lot because we put in a lot of hard work as a team. I’m proud of everyone and proud to win the district with this team that I call family,” Senior Defenseman Jairo Rios said.
“When the final whistle blew, I already knew we were champions. With this team, I believe anything is possible—especially with Christ. I’ve wanted to be a champion for as long as I can remember, and honestly, the win almost felt expected after all the work our team has put in. I’ve been a goalkeeper since 3rd grade, and from then until now, I’ve realized that a good goalkeeper is nothing without a phenomenal team,” Junior Goalkeeper Alex Britten said.

The Harvesters close out the regular season with a home game against the Dumas Demons at 5 P.M. on Tuesday March 10th. They will play in the playoffs against Graham at Happy State Bank Stadium. Harvester Soccer se coronó campeón del distrito después de la Semana de Declaración
Fue una gran semana para el equipo de Fútbol Masculino Pampa Harvester (10-1-2, 12-3-5). Recibieron a Perryton y luego viajaron a Randall. Con una buena semana podrían ganar el Campeonato Distrital.
La semana comenzó con un gran desafío ante Perryton, equipo que Pampa no había vencido en los últimos tres años. El equipo sabía lo que estaba en juego y salió decidido a demostrarlo. Jugaron como un equipo de campeonato, anotaron cuatro goles y cerraron a Perryton a la defensiva para obtener una gran victoria por 4-0. Esa victoria puso a Pampa en una gran posición de cara al enfrentamiento con Randall: ganar ese juego y asegurar al menos una parte del Campeonato Distrital.
Los Harvesters manejaron su negocio contra Randall con una final de 3-0, y si bien ese juego garantiza una parte del título del distrito, otro gran enfrentamiento en todo el Panhandle determinaría el resultado final. West Plains y Dumas lucharon hasta empatar, lo que ayudó a West Plains a mantenerse con vida en la carrera por los playoffs, ¡y también convirtió a los Harvesters en campeones absolutos del distrito! Fue la cuarta blanqueada consecutiva en el juego distrital para los Harvesters.
"¡Qué semana tan ENORME para Harvester Soccer! Estamos increíblemente orgullosos del esfuerzo, la concentración y el corazón que estos jóvenes han demostrado durante toda la temporada", dijo el entrenador principal Martín Moreno.
¿Cómo se sienten los jugadores ante el gran campeonato regional?
"Se siente maravilloso ganar un campeonato distrital con nuestro equipo, hemos trabajado muy duro para alcanzar esta meta y eso se ha demostrado en el campo. Desde el entrenador Moreno hasta el equipo, todos hemos jugado un papel clave para alcanzar esta meta juntos. Estoy muy orgulloso de lo que hemos logrado con este equipo. "Nunca dejes de orar, nunca dejes de creer, nunca te rindas y confía en el proceso", dijo el defensa senior Fabián Calzada.
"Ganar el distrito es un sentimiento que no mucha gente llega a experimentar. Significa mucho para mí y para mis compañeros de equipo. Estoy agradecido por este equipo y sabía que teníamos lo necesario para lograrlo. Pero aún no hemos terminado; todavía tenemos más juegos y más metas que lograr", dijo el delantero senior Ervin Torres.
"Esta victoria significa mucho porque trabajamos mucho como equipo. Estoy orgulloso de todos y orgulloso de ganar el distrito con este equipo al que considero familia", dijo el defensa senior Jairo Ríos.
"Cuando sonó el pitido final, ya sabía que éramos campeones. Con este equipo, creo que todo es posible, especialmente con Cristo. He querido ser campeón desde que tengo uso de razón y, sinceramente, la victoria casi parecía esperada después de todo el trabajo que nuestro equipo ha realizado. He sido portero desde tercer grado y, desde entonces hasta ahora, me he dado cuenta de que un buen portero no es nada sin un equipo fenomenal", dijo el portero junior Alex Britten.
