The Pampa Harvester Boys Soccer team (10-3-5, 8-1-2) traveled to Borger and hosted Hereford last week in their slate of games.
The Harvesters took a more measured approach to practice this week, allowing players time to recover as they entered the second round of district play. Despite the lighter workload, the team continued to perform at a high level, earning strong results against rival Borger (2-0 win) and delivering a quality showing against Hereford (another 2-0 win). With only three games remaining in the season, the team remains focused and determined to finish strong.
The Harvesters currently sit in first place in the district standings, with Dumas close behind. A loss by Dumas would create valuable separation and provide a cushion as the season winds down, putting Pampa in a strong position to maintain the top spot. The team remains motivated and locked in as they continue their push toward the playoffs.
Head Coach Martin Moreno wanted to shout out one of the team captains, Fabian Calzada, a Senior Defenseman. Here is what he had to say:
“I want to give a shout out to one of our Captains, Fabian, he's been a great leader for our team. He leads by example and really tries to push the team to show our potential. He believes in the team and it really resonates with the other players!” Moreno said.

Playoff positions are not yet fully secured, as the third and fourth spots remain undecided. With only a couple of games remaining, final seeding will likely come down to the last matches of the regular season. Every result matters, and the standings could still shift as teams make their final push toward the playoffs. However, the Harvesters have clinched the playoffs already. It is just about figuring out what seed we will be. Canyon can tie them for first place but Pampa has the tie breaker with them.
The Harvesters host Perryton at 5 P.M. on Harvester Field on Tuesday evening. They will travel to Randall for a 5 P.M. tilt with the Raiders on Friday. The regular season ends back at home on Tuesday, March 10th at 5 P.M. v. Dumas.

El equipo de fútbol Pampa Harvester Boys (10-3-5, 8-1-2) viajó a Borger y recibió a Hereford la semana pasada en su programa de juegos.
Los Harvesters adoptaron un enfoque más medido en la práctica esta semana, permitiendo a los jugadores tiempo para recuperarse al ingresar a la segunda ronda de juego del distrito. A pesar de la menor carga de trabajo, el equipo siguió rindiendo a un alto nivel, obteniendo buenos resultados contra su rival Borger (victoria por 2-0) y mostrando calidad contra Hereford (otra victoria por 2-0). Con sólo tres partidos restantes en la temporada, el equipo sigue concentrado y decidido a terminar fuerte.
Los Harvesters ocupan actualmente el primer lugar en la clasificación del distrito, seguidos por Dumas. Una derrota de Dumas crearía una separación valiosa y proporcionaría un ventaja a medida que la temporada termina, colocando a Pampa en una posición sólida para mantener el primer puesto. El equipo sigue motivado y concentrado mientras continúa su avance hacia los playoffs.
El entrenador Martín Moreno quiso felicitar a uno de los capitanes del equipo y defensa senior, Fabián Calzada. Esto es lo que dijo:
"Quiero felicitar a uno de nuestros capitanes, Fabián, ha sido un gran líder para nuestro equipo. Da el ejemplo y realmente intenta impulsar al equipo para que muestre nuestro potencial. Él cree en el equipo y eso realmente resuena con los demás jugadores". dijo Moreno.
