The Harvester Boy’s Soccer (8-5-3, 6-1-2) played three games since our last article. Those games were at Dumas, followed by home games with Canyon and West Plains.
Against Dumas, the Harvesters stepped up to the challenge and competed with determination throughout the match. Holding a 2–0 lead at halftime, the team appeared in control before Dumas returned with renewed energy and an effective second-half adjustment. The match ended in a 2–2 draw, keeping the Harvesters at the top of the standings.
The matchup with Canyon came after multiple scheduling changes, but the game ultimately remained at its original time despite wind gusts reaching up to 35 mph. The Harvesters did not back down from the tough conditions and delivered one of their strongest performances, earning a 2–1 victory. The game concluded in a heated shoving match and altercation that resulted in three red cards issued to Pampa.
The contest against West Plains was a hard-fought battle that seemed destined for a Harvesters victory. However, in the final 20 minutes, West Plains mounted a surge to even the score and force a 3–3 tie. The intensity was evident from the bench to the field and into the stands, highlighting what has quickly become one of the most competitive matchups on the schedule.
Following the West Plains match, Head Coach Martin Moreno shared his thoughts moving forward:
“The guys are ready for the next few games and are mentally focused. They knew that the West Plains game should not have ended in a tie. They have more to prove and will look to make up for the lost points as the season continues,” Moreno said.
With district play tightening, the standings remain extremely close. Playoff seeding is still undecided, and it most likely will come down to the final regular-season district match before positions are officially determined.
Pampa will travel to Borger on Tuesday night and host Hereford on Friday night in Pampa. Both games will be crucial to stay in the heat of the playoff race. Next week, the Harvesters will host Perryton on March 3 and travel to Randall on March 6. The regular season will conclude at home against Dumas on March 10.

El equipo de Soccer masculino de los Harvesters (8-5-3, 6-1-2) jugó tres partidos desde nuestro último artículo. Esos juegos fueron en Dumas, seguidos de juegos en casa con Canyon y West Plains. Contra Dumas, los Harvesters aceptaron el desafío y compitieron con determinación durante todo el partido. Con una ventaja de 2-0 en el entretiempo, el equipo parecía tener el control antes de que Dumas regresara con energías renovadas y un ajuste efectivo en la segunda mitad. Pampa viajará a Borger el martes por la noche y recibirá a Hereford el viernes por la noche en Pampa. Ambos partidos serán cruciales para mantenerse en el fragor de la carrera por los playoffs. La próxima semana, los Harvesters recibirán a Perryton el 3 de marzo y viajarán a Randall el 6 de marzo. La temporada regular concluirá en casa contra Dumas el 10 de marzo.
