Pampa Harvester Athletes of the Week (Feb 9-Feb 15)

Yadira Vasquez is #8 and a Freshman on the Lady Harvester Soccer team. She recorded an assist during the game on Friday against the Dumas Demonettes. She didn’t even know she was going to be playing in that game for the varsity team.
Here is what Lady Harvester Soccer Head Coach Brennen McGinty had to say about Yadira:
“Friday at lunch Yadi was still under the impression she would be playing for the JV. One of our starters went home sick, so I had to pull Yadi up an hour before kickoff. She played extended minutes, got an assist on a perfect flat ball and was inches away from scoring. The mental fortitude to jump into a pivotal district match and excel shouldn't go unnoticed, especially for a Freshman,” McGinty said.
Dase Scott is #55 and a Senior on the Hustlin’ Harvester Basketball team. He had two points, three rebounds, and an assist in the game against Canyon on Friday night. He had two points, three rebounds, and a steal in the game against Dumas on Tuesday night.
Here is what Harvester Boy’s Basketball Head Coach Braydon Barker had to say about Dase:
“Dase Scott had a very good week. He played extremely well on the defensive end against Dumas, and was a spark for us off the bench early in the game. Dase shows up and works hard every single day. He is a leader on and off the court.” Barker said.
Congratulations to Yadira and Dase on being what a great Harvester student-athlete is all about!

Dase Scott es el número 55 y estudiante Senior en el equipo de baloncesto Hustlin' Harvester. Logró dos puntos, tres rebotes y una asistencia en el partido contra Canyon el viernes por la noche. Logró dos puntos, tres rebotes y un robo en el partido contra Dumas el martes por la noche.
