Emmy Boutsamaly is #1 and a Sophomore Guard on the Lady Harvester Basketball team. She had 23 points and eight rebounds vs Borger and nine points and three rebounds vs Hereford. She scored five points, five rebounds, one assist, one deflection, and one block against Perryton. Against Randall, she had 24 points, four three-pointers, four rebounds, two assists, five deflections, and three steals.
Here is what Lady Harvester Basketball Head Coach Clint Watson had to say about Emmy:
“She handles the ball extremely well and she helps to relay what she sees on the court to me. She's like having a coach on the court. She watches just as much film as a coach would and helps get the girls in the right spot. She played a spectacular game against Randall,” Watson said.
Archer Schroeder is a Senior on the Harvester Swimming team. With his performance at Regionals, he advanced to state in the Men’s 50-meter freestyle. He is the first swimmer to make state since 2009 for Pampa. He and Coach Day will travel to San Antonio where he will compete Thursday and Friday at the Josh Davis Natatorium.
Here is what Harvester Swimming Coach Jeremiah Day had to say about Archer:
“He had the most desire and worked the hardest to become the best swimmer I have coached.” Day said.
Congratulations to Emmy and Archer on being what a great Harvester student-athlete is all about!
