The Pampa Harvester Boys Soccer Team played two games last week against West Plains and Borger. They were able to win both games to bring their district record to 3-0 and first place in district. Overall on the season they are 5-2-3.
The boys did an excellent job last week taking care of business, continuing to show a level of focus and intensity that was missing at times last season. The matchup against West Plains was expected to be challenging, and the team responded well as the concepts and adjustments they have been working on came together. West Plains fielded a young squad, which played a key role in shaping the game plan and contributed to the Harvesters’ strong performance.
The rivalry match against Borger once again delivered a high-intensity atmosphere. Borger’s defensive game plan limited the Harvesters in the first half, and despite controlling possession, the team struggled to create dangerous scoring opportunities, finishing the half with just one shot on goal. After making adjustments and regaining composure at halftime, the Harvesters came out with renewed energy and sharper focus. Trailing 1–0 at the break, the team responded with an aggressive second half, scoring four goals and generating approximately 24 shots to secure a 4–1 victory.
"I am very proud of this group of guys, they have faced some good teams and they are so ready to make some great achievements, but they can only do that if they stay focused! Like I always tell them, it's not up to me it's up to them and how they react to situations!" Head Coach Martin Moreno said.

The team will travel to Hereford Tuesday night and Perryton Friday night. Both games will kickoff at 5 P.M. as they try to keep the perfect district record alive.
La semana pasada, el equipo de fútbol masculino Pampa Harvester jugó dos partidos contra West Plains y Borger. Lograron ganar ambos encuentros, lo que les permitió alcanzar un récord de 3-0 en la liga y el primer puesto en su distrito. En lo que va de la temporada, su récord general es de 5-2-3.
Los chicos hicieron un excelente trabajo la semana pasada, demostrando un nivel de concentración e intensidad que a veces faltó en la temporada pasada. La estrategia defensiva de Borger limitó a los Harvesters en la primera mitad, y a pesar de controlar la posesión del balón, el equipo tuvo dificultades para crear oportunidades claras de anotar goles, terminando la primera parte con solo un disparo a puerta. Tras realizar ajustes y recuperar la calma en el medio tiempo, los Harvesters salieron con energías renovadas y mejor concentración. Con un marcador de 1-0 en contra al medio tiempo, el equipo reaccionó con una segunda parte agresiva, anotando cuatro goles y generando aproximadamente 24 disparos a puerta para asegurar la victoria por 4-1.
"Estoy muy orgulloso de este grupo de chicos; se han enfrentado a buenos equipos y están listos para lograr grandes cosas, ¡pero solo lo conseguirán si se mantienen concentrados! Como siempre les digo, no depende de mí, sino de ellos y de cómo reaccionen ante las situaciones", declaró el entrenador Martin Moreno.
