Myla Zarate is #3 and a Sophomore Guard on the Lady Harvester Basketball team. She had five points, one three-pointer, and two rebounds against a tough Randall team last week. The stat report for the Dumas game was unavailable due to technical issues.
Here is what Harvester Basketball Head Coach Clint Watson had to say about Myla:
“Myla is a valuable member of this team. She is tough and always works extremely hard. She always guards the other team's best offensive player. She might be outsized on the court, but her toughness is always in her favor.” Watson said.
Shubh Doshi is #12 and a Senior Guard for the Harvester Basketball team. He saw his first action of the season last Tuesday at Randall. Against Dumas, he had six points off of two threes.
Here is what Boy’s Basketball Head Coach Braydon Barker had to say about Shubh:
“Shubh broke his collarbone in our first practice of the year, so he has been out most of the year,” Barker said. “He is a great shooter, so it was good to see him make those two three-pointers. Shubh is a great kid and works extremely hard, so I was glad to see his hard work paying off.”
Congratulations to Myla and Shubh on being what a great Harvester student-athlete is all about!
