The boys’ soccer team competed in two scrimmages this week, facing Lubbock Liberty and Palo Duro. The match against Liberty focused on building team chemistry and giving additional playing time to developing players. The Harvesters were strong offensively, scoring six goals, while also gaining valuable experience across the roster.

Later in the week, the team faced Palo Duro, one of the area’s top programs. The Harvesters matched their intensity, turning in a strong performance on both sides of the ball. After conceding an early goal, the team responded with an unassisted goal by Ervin Torres. Despite the result, it was the team’s most complete performance of the season so far, continuing a clear trend of improvement with each scrimmage.

Looking ahead, the program will host its annual Alumni Game on December 29, a community event that brings together former and current players. Following the break, Jan. 1st, the team will travel to Sulphur Springs to face strong competition, providing an important test and valuable exposure for players with collegiate potential.
