Head Coach Brennan McGinty was pleased with how his squad looked the first time they took the field.

“The scrimmage went great,” McGinty said. “In the first half, you could tell we were shaking off the rust. Estacado scored off their first real chance in the second half, and it gave us a chance to show if we have taken a step forward in the mental toughness aspect.

“We responded with two goals in the last 20 minutes. Extremely proud of the way everyone fought and the immense progress we’ve made in such a short time

The Lady Harvesters return to action on Dec. 30 when they travel to Amarillo to take on Palo Duro at Dick Bivins Stadium.
