Carissa Leal is a junior runner on the Cross Country team for the Lady Harvesters.

Here is what Head Coach Martin Moreno had to say about Carissa:

Carissa leads by example—never complains, always works hard, and gives her best every single day. A true go-getter with a quiet strength that inspires everyone around her. Proud to have her represent our program!”

Andrew Waldrip is #4 and is the Senior Linebacker/Running Back for the Harvester Football team. Through the West Plains game, he had one interception and 12 tackles on defense. He also has returned kicks for about 50 yards.

Here is what Head Coach/Linebacker Coach Floyd White had to say about Andrew:

“Andrew has been a huge surprise for us this year. He played a little for us as a junior and we did not know what to expect from him this year. He spent the offseason working his tail off and doing the smaller things that were going to allow him to play at a high level this year. As a result he has been a top notch starter all season. I wish that all kids had the tenacity and gave the effort that he does. He is one that I am truly going to miss as a player.”

Congratulations to Carissa and Andrew on being what a great Harvester student-athlete is all about!
