Zoe Reynolds is a freshman runner on the Cross Country team for the Lady Harvesters. She will also compete for the track team in the Spring. She has had some great success as only a freshman.

Here is what Head Coach Martin Moreno had to say about Zoe:

“She was our top runner with a two-mile time of 13:29. Zoe is an awesome kid that actually enjoys running. Running that as a freshman is great. She’s on track to go to state if she puts her heart in it.”

Caden Waldrip is #88 and is the Senior Linebacker/Wide Receiver for the Harvester Football team. Waldrip has 24 tackles on the season as of the West Plains game. He has 49 yards receiving on offense. He also has 62 kick return yards on the season. All of these stats are through the Canyon game on offense and special teams.

Here is what Head Coach/Linebacker Coach Floyd White had to say about Caden:

“Caden is such a tremendous asset to us out on the field at all times. He doesn’t do everything perfectly but when he does mess up, he is going to be the first one out there to say ‘okay coach, I messed that up, how can I work at it to get better.’ That’s what we miss a lot of times with a lot of young people. Not just around Pampa, but around the country. We have a lot of young people that when they mess up it is never their fault, nobody can ever tell me it's my fault, my mom and dad told me it is never my fault. It is always someone else’s fault. Caden is the first one to say, ‘ yeah I messed that one up. I should have done this instead.’ When you teach and coach young men like that, it makes your job so much easier because it is an easy correction. The other thing about Caden is he gives up easily 70-80 pounds to every person he comes into contact with on the field. He plays linebacker so a lot of times he is playing in contact with a bunch of offensive lineman so he is giving up 120-130 pounds a pop. He goes out there and he fights and scraps and does everything he can. I wish we had more people that had the heart that he does. With that heart and that tenacity and work ethic that he and his brothers all have, it is going to pay off dividends for them, long after the game of football is done and over with. It is going to help them in every aspect of their life moving forward. I couldn’t ask for a better young man to be around.”

Congratulations to Zoe and Caden on being what a great Harvester student-athlete is all about!
