PERRYTON- It only took three sets for the Lady Harvesters (17-8, 3-2) to make it three district wins in a row as Pampa swept Perryton on Tuesday evening.
“The girls took control from the start of the match and played their game,” Head Coach Abbey Kashwer said. “They knew it was a business trip to Perryton and got the job done.”
Now over .500 in District play, the Lady Harvesters have gelled as a team and are playing like one.
“I think having that winning confidence is so important going into the Randall match,” Kashwer said. “The girls are playing like a team and cheer each other on but also hold each other accountable. This will help moving forward as we get into playoff opportunity scenarios.”
Freshman Addi Bagwell had three kills and 10 digs in the match and has been a great new addition to the Lady Harvesters this season.

“Addi has done a great job transitioning from eighth-grade ball to varsity ball in one of the toughest districts in Texas,” Kashwer said. “She is a student of the game and always strives to get better. She is one of our setters and also contributes to our defense and offense.”
The Lady Harvesters return to action on Saturday when they host the Randall Lady Raiders at noon.
“Randall is currently first in the District at 5-0, and they have a history of being a good program,” Kashwer said. “However, the girls are building the confidence to compete and have proven they can beat the teams that have always been at the top of our district.”
On Saturday, the Lady Harvesters will also be recognizing distinguished educators who have had an impact on them individually throughout their education.
“It is important for the girls to recognize and honor a teacher that has impacted them in the classroom because we preach being students first and athletes second,” Kashwer said. “It is a good way to also show off other amazing things. In this case, people of Pampa ISD.”
