PAMPA, TX (February 6, 2026) – Pampa Independent School District announced today a
$100,000 donation from Intersect to support Career and Technical Education (CTE)
programming at the district’s new CTE Center currently under construction at Pampa High
School.
The CTE Center is being built through a voter-approved bond passed in 2023. Pampa ISD’s
CTE programs have been in place for several years, and the new facility is designed to expand
and strengthen those existing offerings. While bond funding supports construction of the facility,
Intersect’s donation will help fund instructional programming, classroom supplies, equipment,
and other educational needs not covered by the bond.
“Career and Technical Education has supported students and families in our community for
many years,” said Hugh Piatt, Superintendent of Pampa ISD. “Our community approved this
bond, and it’s exciting to see the project taking shape. It places a strong value on career and
technical education and the impact it will have on the future of Pampa and our region. Support
from Intersect helps us continue building on that vision for our students.” The new CTE Center
is expected to play a key role in supporting workforce development aligned with industries
moving into the region, including energy and technology-related fields.

“Strong communities grow from education and opportunity,” said Elizabeth Knowles, Head of
Community Engagement at Intersect. “We’re proud to support Pampa ISD’s CTE programs and
the teachers and students who are helping shape the future of Pampa’s workforce.”
Construction on the CTE Center and Fine Arts Center is currently underway. Projects included
in the 2023 bond are expected to be completed by August 2027.
