Important Message For Parents

Dear Parents:


 We have an important message for you about attendance notifications in the parent portal:


 If you currently have email or text notifications set in the parent portal of Ascender/TxEIS for student attendance, and your student is enrolled in PISD for virtual (at home) instruction, you will want to change your settings to not receive notifications for attendance.  If the change is not made, you could possibly receive notifications every day, for every course/period your child has scheduled.  The system does not allow us to remove this feature, the user must remove it from their own account.  Due to having students on campus and students in home instruction, notifications can’t be turned off completely.  


If you have received this message through the Remind app and do not have a student enrolled in Pampa ISD, we are working on cleaning up our data contacts.  If you were previously enrolled as a Remind contact then you can open your Remind app to un-enroll from your class.
