Welcome to Travis Elementary School, home of the Travis Tigers. Travis is a great place to learn!  The staff here is dedicated to helping each student achieve success, and we continually strive to find new and innovative ways to improve learning. 

Currently enrolled are 400 outstanding students from grades Kindergarten through 5^th grade. Our staff of fifty is a hard-working group of people who realize that teamwork is essential if we expect to achieve our goals and continue our commitment to excellence.

Travis is a Title 1 school.  We have strong parent support for our many activities!  The parents and grandparents of Travis students are frequent and welcome guests at our school. 

Travis Elementary has a parent Booster Club that is very active!  They work hard to help our students.  They have enriched the learning opportunities for our students by increasing the number of books in our literacy library and by providing manipulatives and supplies for teachers. They most recently bought a rock climbing wall for the playground, which the students are very proud of and enjoy every day!

We are very honored this year to have the Cabot Corporation as our partners in education!  The employees of Cabot are working closely with our staff for the benefit of all Travis students.  They provide incentive attendance parties each six weeks, mentor students, and have provided financial help, so that we could purchase science supplies and materials that have enhanced our science instruction. We appreciate our friends at Cabot!
