Team Travis

"Team Travis" is the official name of the Travis Elementary booster club. Below is information concerning our organization. If you have any questions, please contact one of the officers.

Meeting Information

We meet the first Monday of every month at 5:30 in the school library.  If the first Monday falls on a holiday, we meet the following Monday. Reminders are sent home with the students the week before.

Fundraiser Information

The kids are encouraged to participate in the fall fundraiser as well as a spring fundraiser.  The fall fundraiser changes from year to year and in the spring the students sell items from Zaks cheese. Zaks is our really big seller! In addition to that, the booster club members sell t-shirts, and we have a new “Spirit Table” this year.  At the Spirit Table we sell the t-shirts as well as Travis Tiger water bottles, pennants, paw print magnets for your vehicles, shoe tags, pencils, paw print stickers and coming later this month we will have the silicone bracelets and zipper pulls.  The booster members also put together the yearbook and sell copies.  On the yearbooks we usually don’t make a profit.  We sell to the students at a price that usually just covers the cost to have them printed.

Campus Contributions

Recent contributions to the school:  New sound system, ELMO’s, TV/DVD/VCR combo’s for each grade level, a popcorn machine (we purchase supplies for it as they are depleted) and computers. They have in the past purchased the curtains for the stage, Accelerated Reader supplies, dye cuts, gym and playground equipment.  We provide funds to the music programs to help with costumes so the parents will not have to come up with their own.  We also host the Veteran’s Day reception and purchase all the supplies for that as well as pay for the advertising.  We also provide each student with a free school directory.
