Hi there! I am Neil Leeper. I was born in Memphis, Texas in 1971. My family is from Clarendon, Texas. My father joined the military promptly after I was born-on a dare with a friend who ultimately did not enlist. I have been lucky enough to live all over the United States but am really lucky for the fact that I got to spend 13+ years on Oahu, Hawaii!!! Needless to say I am a huge fan of water! We love to spend a lot of time at Greenbelt Lake boating, camping, playing, jeeping, etc...
This will be my 7th year at Pampa ISD. I taught 4 years at Pampa High School (Biology, Biology II AP, and Aquatics) and this will be my third year Pampa Jr. High School (8th grade science). I graduated from Clarendon College in 1993 with an A.A. I then attended West Texas A&M University and completed my B.S. in 1995. I went to graduate school at WTAMU until 1998 for my M.S. then moved to pampa to help care for my father who was terminally ill at the time. I decided to get my teaching certificate at that point (with 6 hours left to complete my masters-go figure). I have lived in pampa since 1999 with my beautiful wife Catrina. We have a daughter who is 10-Kelsi and just had a baby boy on October 7th 2005 whom we named Toby!
