I have been teaching business and technology courses at Pampa High School for 18 years. I began my teaching career here at PHS and have been here ever since. I graduated from Pampa High School in 1982 and feel fortunate to come back and teach at my own high school.
I graduated from West Texas State University in 1987 with a degree in Business Education. My husband, David, is also an alumni of Pampa High School. We have two sons: Mitch, a freshman at Pampa High School, and Ryan, a 4th grader at Travis Elementary.
This year I am teaching Webmastering, Webmastering 2, Business Computer Information Systems (BCIS), and Business Computer Information Systems 2. All of these courses are computer courses that meet the state graduation requirement of a technology credit. In Webmastering, we are utilizing the CISCO curriculum which is an online curriculum. All lessons are read off the internet and all tests are given over the internet. In BCIS, we are learning the Microsoft Office XP package of Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook Express.
We will learn many things from each other this semester. Feel free to email or call me if you have any questions.

My expectations for my students include coming to class prepared to work every day, completing all assignments on time, and respecting each other as well as the instructor. You are responsible for any make-up work after an absence, so be aware of my class routines. I will always be available for help and to answer questions. Feel free to email me as well.
This is a very demanding class, but it is also a very rewarding one. You will be proud of what you accomplish this semester and so will I!!
