Biography

My name is Raquel Navarrete. I have been teaching in Pampa for 19 years. I am currently teaching Bilingual Kindergarten at Lamar Elementary School.. I enjoy teaching languages. I have four Children. They are Danette, Lizette, Manuel Jr., and Josue. I like living in Pampa. My daughters are going to Texas Teach University. I am proud of my girls. Lizette has graduated from Texas Tech University in May. It feels great! I am excited about starting a new bilingual kindergarten class . Kindergarten students are very sweet.

Bilingual Kindergarten Students:

Reading and Language

Listen to and practice reading stories or books as much as possible. Parents need to help their children. { Talk about the story and ask questions about it. Ask questions using the words who, did what, when, where and why.) This will help students acquire listening, speaking, vocabulary and comprehension skills.

Writing

Practice writing letters, words, sentences and stories.

Mathematics

Practice counting the numbers 0-100.

Practice addition and subraction using story problems.
