The Lamar P.A.A.S. Pack Is Back

We are now heading into the New Year fast and furious. The students are working hard in P.A.A.S..

The Fourth and Fifth Grade students are exploring the earth through "The History of the Earth" web quest. They have studied the layers of the earth, rocks, volcanoes, and earthquakes. They have erupted their volcanoes with great success. We had "lava" going everywhere. We all enjoyed that experience! They are starting to put together a Power Point to show all of the info they have gathered. The students always enjoy working and creating with the computer.

The Second and Third Grade have been doing research on dinosaurs and they are starting on their dioramas to show their information.

Now to the boring information. I attended Pampa Schools. I went to Baker Elementary, Pampa Junior High, and Pampa High School. I graduated from West Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Science Degree-Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Reading. I have also received a Science Mentor Teacher Certificate through the West Texas A&M and Amarillo College Science Collaborative.
