District Content Filter Information

In this technological age, the computer and Internet provide a very valuable educational resource for all of our students and staff. In an effort to protect the children attending Pampa ISD schools, we have employed an Internet Content Filter. This filter, 8e6 Technologies, is very effective at preventing students from accessing sites deemed inappropriate. Although rated as the top filter, no filter is 100% effective. We also rely on the vigilance of the classroom teacher and all Pampa ISD staff to observe the activities of students while they are utilizing computers.
