I have been involved with education for the past nineteen years. This is my sixth year at Austin Elementary where I teach music to kindergarten through fifth grade students. I was born and reared in Pampa and attended Pampa schools. My husband, John, and I have three sons--Seth, Jacob, and Christopher. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from West Texas A & M University. I taught a combined K-2 class for several years before coming to Austin. Prior to that, I taught music and computer at a private school. I hope to instill in each of my students a love and appreciation of music, and help them find joy in learning and a desire to do their very best.
